Worcestershire Sauce is like a good red wine, it matures with age.

An old-time favourite that will never grow old.

Ingredients

  • 3 litres Palm, brown vinegar
  • 850g treacle
  • 375 ml oyster sauce
  • 30 grams cloves
  • 30 grams fresh garlic, crushed
  • 14 grams cayenne pepper
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 250 grams basil leaves, torn.

Instructions

  1. Bring all ingredients to the boil and simmer for 45 minutes.
  2. Allow to slightly cool. Strain off liquid and bottle sauce.
